Faissal Zahrawi, MD, FACS
Faissal Zahrawi, MD, FACS, has extensive training and over 25 years experience in Spinal Surgery and Spinal Deformity. After graduating from medical school, he started his Orthopaedic surgery training at St. Luke’s Hospital and Case Western Reserve University Hospital. After residency, Dr. Zahrawi completed a fellowship at the A.I. Dupont Institute in Scoliosis and Children’s Deformity. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Zahrawi returned to Cleveland and practiced spinal surgery for 25 years at the Hillcrest Cleveland Clinic.
Since 1985, Dr. Zahrawi has been one of the pioneers of Minimally Invasive and Microsurgery of the spine. He has published many articles, presented papers and exhibits across the country and has also authored teaching video tapes for microsurgery of the spine.
Dr. Zahrawi is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Spinal Surgery. His expertise and interests are in Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Spine.
